SpaceClaim 2011+ Now
Available!
We are pleased to announce the availability of SpaceClaim 2011+, the eighth release of SpaceClaim in four years.
All customers with valid Software Subscription contracts have been notified via a bubble on their machines.
This exciting new version is now available to be downloaded from your myspaceclaim.com site.
The new capabilities in SpaceClaim 2011+ address a broad range of modeling, performance, detailed design, and drawing improvements for concept modeling, design review, simulation, and manufacturing applications.
We continue to build momentum within the automotive industry and in other industries such as medical devices.
The JT format, developed by Siemens PLM Software, provides an open environment for 3D data visualization and collaboration.
SpaceClaim Engineer 2011+ is unique in its ability to visualize and edit JT data with PMI, allowing any engineer to visualize large datasets as well as open and edit precise part geometry.
SpaceClaim multiplies the value of manufacturer’s investments in JT by combining the ease-of-use of a simple viewer with the power of 3D solid modeling previously only available in complex CAD systems.
SpaceClaim also worked closely with partner TRUMPF, a global machine tool manufacturer, to drive new sheet metal manufacturing capabilities.
The new capabilities in SpaceClaim address a broad range of manufacturing applications including NC Machining, jig and fixture design, mold manufacturing and sheet metal manufacturing.
“SpaceClaim changed the landscape of the 3D CAD market when we introduced our 3D Direct Modeler in 2007,” said Chris Randles, President and CEO of SpaceClaim.
In a market that has seen little innovation in more than a decade, SpaceClaim sparked a revolution that has seen most of the leading CAD vendors follow suit and introduce their own first-generation direct modeling solutions.
SpaceClaim is the clear leader in 3D Direct Modeling, and is the product in the market today against which new entrants should be measured.” For a comprehensive review of all the new and improved features in this release, visit the What’s New page, which includes videos showcasing new functionality.

Coko Werk GmbH & Company is a large system supplier of technical plastic parts for automotive, appliance and other consumer and transportation
industries.
Coko is a strong partner in many fields of plastic processing and finishing.
From the design of a tool or plastic article, through mold making right down to injection molding, everything comes from the same source.
A large number of the plastic parts are further processed after injection molding, e.g., the assembly of components, varnishing, foaming, bonding, printing, etc.
The company is one of the leading suppliers with 800 employees across Germany, Poland and Turkey.
“I was able to learn the basics of SpaceClaim in less than a day and with an intuitive interface the process to be productive was easy.
SpaceClaim enables me to make the many changes I have to without going in and out of different software.
It not only saves me time, it has made our workflow much less stressful.” |
