Visit SpaceClaim at the EuroMold Trade Show
November 29 to December 2, Frankfurt/Main, Germany

In its 18th year, EuroMold is the world-wide leading trade fair for moldmaking and tooling, as well as design and application development. EuroMold presents products and services, technology and impulses for tomorrow's markets. The whole process chain from design to prototyping to series production is represented at EuroMold. This unique fair concept closes the gap between industrial designers, product developers, producers, suppliers and end-users.

SpaceClaim will be in hall 11.0, booth E67 along with five SpaceClaim German resellers. Drop by and check out what's new in SpaceClaim and get a live demonstration! To learn more, go to the EuroMold Website.
Check out SpaceClaim for Reverse Engineering
SpaceClaim is becoming a must-have tool for many reverse engineering and rapid prototyping workflows. A recent webinar that is available on demand shows you how to save hours of geometry headaches down the road. Working with scan data in traditional feature-based CAD is a bear. This webinar shows how SpaceClaim Engineer's fast and simple 3D direct modeling technology helps turn scans to solids. We show how to read scan data into the context of existing assemblies, set up reference planes based on scanned geometry, auto-fit and sketch curves to cross sections, use SpaceClaim's Pull tool to snap solids to scanned geometry, and tweak dumb solids created by other solid and surface software into reference designs. Download the Reverse Engineering on demand webinar today.

SPACECLAIM IN THE NEWS
Desktop Engineering – Faster, Easier Metalwork with SpaceClaim 2011+
Many CAD users have discovered – like I did – that using direct modeling tools to create and edit sheet metals is a lot easier than using a classic parametric modeler. The ability to push, pull, and rotate sheet-metal plates and corners without worrying about their feature history gives you a lot more freedom in how you work. (You don't, for example, need to worry about regeneration failure when you need to reposition a plate past the bend line you've defined previously.) Read the entire article.
CAD Insider – SpaceClaim 2011+ Review
"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win"
—Mohandas Ghandi
SpaceClaim, as far as I can tell, is a fully functional solid modeling program. Its champions say it is the easiest to learn and use. It does direct modeling, which is all the rage...SpaceClaim is now talking of "displacing" existing MCAD software. Apparently, SpaceClaim has been successful in landing a few manufacturers who may have been using other MCAD programs. Read the entire product review.
Design News — SpaceClaim Stakes Manufacturing Claim
Building off the generalist focus of this year's earlier release, SpaceClaim has launched an update to its 2011 3D direct modeling platform that makes a beeline for manufacturing production environments by packing in an array of new functions. SpaceClaim can tout its claim to fame raising the CAD world's consciousness to the benefits of direct modeling. Over the years, it has infiltrated a number of industry segments and smaller shops with its promise of less complex but still powerful CAD environment. Read the full article.
Design & Motion — SpaceClaim: Got Sheet Metal?
Trumpf, a major manufacturer of CNC equipment, has partnered with SpaceClaim in order to develop real features that are needed in the industry today...They know sheet metal and their partnership with SpaceClaim has definitely helped the product fill a niche that was poorly addressed for years... In terms of sheet metal features and design configuration, SpaceClaim Engineer 2011+ is a pretty sweet platform. Read the entire review.
