3D Direct Modeling Accelerates Ceramicx Concept & Design Work
"In the quest for ever improved engineering processes, Ceramicx have expanded their engineering modeling capability with SpaceClaim 3D Direct Modeling software. Macin Milczarczyk, Lead Engineering Designer at Ceramicx, utilizes the power of SpaceClaim for the design of heating platens, which encompasses platen replacement for cooking chickens, to the development of heaters for blood centrifuges, to testing the cowlings of jet turbines...Marcin uses SpaceClaim for 3D geometry creation and editing, sheet metal design, and general analysis work, and has found the ease-of-use of the software has enabled him to improve and increase the quality and rate of his design work."

Blake Courter Interviewed about SpaceClaim's Success with CAE Customers
In an interview with Blake Courter, SpaceClaim Director of Customer Development, about SpaceClaim's ongoing success with CAE customers, Ray Kurland questions focused on what makes SpaceClaim such a valuable tool for CAE analysts. "There are two workflows we see the most. One is when simulation users unfortunately have to do simulation after the CAD models have been made – which is usually a bit more work. And then there are the cases where companies use simulation before CAD to direct product development. That's obviously a much more efficient strategy," said Blake.

Press Release: RS Components Make 3D CAD Models Available in SpaceClaim Format
RS Components is the world's largest high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products. "SpaceClaim...makes it possible for engineers to easily explore their ideas and solve problems in 3D. They can re-use and quickly edit concept models from any CAD system, and simplify models for analysis in a fraction of the time it takes with traditional CAD based complex parametric modelling. SpaceClaim's simplicity means that non-CAD specialists can contribute at the early stages of product development, perhaps with input from sales, marketing and production departments. The addition of RS' 3D model library will give SpaceClaim users access to the latest electronic component technologies in a familiar and fully verified format.
