Media Coverage: Companies to Watch in 2011: SpaceClaim
Managing Automation named SpaceClaim a company to watch in 2011. "SpaceClaim wants to do for 3D design software what Avatar did for 3D movies—create mass appeal. Or, at least, bring 3D direct modeling capabilities to engineering and other manufacturing folks who aren't versed in the intricacies of CAD tools," said author Emily-Sue Sloane.

Media Coverage: FEA Simulates Aircraft Design
Design World senior editor, Laura Carrabine, profiles AeroNautique and their use of SpaceClaim: "In order for AeroNautique to design facilities such as galleys, bulkheads, lavatories, and closets for corporate and head of state aircraft, they must do detailed FEA to ensure they will not compromise the aircraft's safety and must then provide documentation to the FAA." They use SpaceClaim to prepare their models for FEA analysis in Autodesk's Algor simulation software. "They are also able to use SpaceClaim to review designs in real-time with customers and make any requested alterations on the fly." ... Find Out More >> |
